Produced by Hibino, NieR:Automata’s Virtuous Contract is realised as a 1/1 scale replica of 2B’s signature weapon, designated SMT-A1, bringing the in-game sword into physical form with integrated light and sound features. Measuring approximately 54.7 inches in length, the replica is constructed from a combination of ABS resin and aluminium components.

The design reflects the weapon’s distinctive appearance with die-cast texturing and weathered finishing, while the handle is wrapped in a braided cord that replicates the intricate weave of a traditional Japanese sword. Each unit is individually marked with a laser-engraved serial number.

An internal accelerometer drives the interactive features, activating slashing sound effects and illumination patterns in response to movement. After repeated swings, the replica triggers intermittent voice playback of 2B, with both Japanese and English audio options available. Volume levels can be adjusted, and a continuous lighting mode allows the sword to be displayed with a selected illumination pattern.
