Four decades after Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns redefined the Caped Crusader, Hot Toys presents CMS031 – the 1/6th scale Batman™ (Battle Damaged Version) Collectible Figure. The release commemorates the 40th anniversary of the landmark comic series, depicting a 55-year-old Bruce Wayne emerging from retirement to confront a crumbling Gotham with uncompromising force.

This version captures the aged and battle-hardened Dark Knight in a visibly worn state. The figure includes a newly developed Bruce Wayne head sculpt featuring separate rolling eyeballs and blood paint applications to reflect the aftermath of combat. A blue cowled Batman head is also included, accompanied by three interchangeable lower faces: a clenched-teeth expression with blood detailing, a frowning expression, and an open-mouth expression. Standing approximately 32 cm tall, the figure is built on a specialised muscular body with around 30 points of articulation, designed to convey the heavier, more imposing physique of Miller’s interpretation.

Specifications

The 1/6th scale figure features an authentic likeness of Batman in his battle-damaged appearance from The Dark Knight™ Returns. It includes six interchangeable gloved hands with blood paint applications, comprising battle-damaged fists, open gesture hands, a Batarang-holding right hand and a rifle-holding right hand. The body structure supports a wide range of dynamic posing while maintaining the character’s bulk and presence.

Accessories / Features

Batman is outfitted in a finely tailored grey Batsuit constructed from elastic fabric material, complete with realistic tears and weathered blood effects. A wired blue cape with weathering detail allows for adjustable draping. The ensemble is completed with a yellow utility belt, blue forearm gauntlets, blue boots and a mask-off cowl that can be attached when displaying the Bruce Wayne head sculpt.

Weapons include four Batarangs, one rope-attached Batarang and a rifle. A specially designed display stand bearing the Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns logo is included.

Release Details
