A Double Advance from the Loyal Ranks of the 212th
The 212th stirs once more as Hot Toys introduces two sixth scale interpretations of the battalionโs troopers, presented as a Regular Version and a Deluxe Version, each built around the same core armour but separated by their battlefield roles and equipment range.
The release focuses on the familiar Phase II silhouette of the 212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper, rendered in two configurations. Both share the fundamental design and orange markings associated with the battalion, yet the accessory loadouts create a clear distinction between a standard infantry deployment and an expanded tactical variant built for heavier action displays.
Specifications
Both versions stand at sixth scale with full articulation, a fitted fabric undersuit and the characteristic 212th orange paint pattern across the armour plates. The helmets follow the Phase II design, and each figure includes a display base finished in a sand-textured theme that reflects the battalionโs operational environments.
Key Differences Between Regular and Deluxe
The distinction between the two versions lies primarily in the equipment loadout. The Regular Version supplies the fundamental blasters and hand options typical of a standard line trooper. The Deluxe Version introduces extra weaponry, expanded tactical gear and additional components that increase pose variety and elevate the figure into a more flexible combat role. While their base armour and proportions are the same, the Deluxe Version offers deeper customisation and more complex display opportunities.
Release Details
Both versions form part of Hot Toysโ ongoing Star Wars sixth scale line and are released as separate entries. Each variant includes its specific collection of accessories, gear and display pieces, allowing collectors to choose between a standard 212th trooper or a more extensively equipped version tailored for broader scene building.
Regular Version
The Regular Version represents the straightforward infantry configuration of a 212th trooper. It includes the essential blaster loadout, along with interchangeable hands suitable for standard firing and ready stances. The armour remains uncluttered and aligned with the appearance of a typical trooper seen within the battalionโs primary deployment lines. This version is structured to serve as the baseline soldier, forming the core of any 212th formation.

Deluxe Version
The Deluxe Version expands upon the Regular Version by introducing a broader set of equipment and alternate display options. Alongside the standard blasters, the Deluxe package includes heavier support weaponry, additional tactical attachments and variant gear pieces that allow the trooper to take on roles beyond basic infantry. These additions create opportunities for more aggressive firing poses, varied battlefield arrangements and a greater sense of specialised function within the unit. The Deluxe Version is designed to portray a trooper prepared for more demanding operational tasks.
