T-ARTS, a toy brand under TAKARA TOMY, has announced a new original capsule toy release titled Canned Characters! Sanrio Characters. The series consists of five variations and is priced at 300 yen per capsule, tax included. Distribution is scheduled for late January 2026.

The Canned Characters line features popular characters emerging from realistically sculpted tin cans. This Sanrio-themed assortment includes Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll and the Nyannyanzu (Meow Family).

Each figure is designed with detailed can textures and a curved pull-tab lid to resemble an opened food tin. The characters are sculpted peeking out from inside, with heart-shaped elements placed within the can interior. The exterior labels are printed with character-specific designs to match each variant.
