Amalgam Collection Reveals the Battle-Worn Ferrari 499P
The Ferrari 499P returns not in pristine red gloss, but in a coat of battle-worn grime, as Amalgam Collection reveals its 1:8 scale recreation of the 2025 Le Mans–winning machine — captured exactly as it rolled off the Circuit de la Sarthe after twenty-four unforgiving hours.
Amalgam’s weathered edition portrays the victorious #83 hypercar in the state it truly finished: streaked with rubber, dulled by dust and marked by endurance. Limited to eighty-three pieces worldwide and stretching to roughly sixty-three centimetres in length, each model is hand-built in Bristol using thousands of components, including CNC-machined metals, cast parts and fine photo-etchings. Ferrari’s original paint codes and design data underpin the replica, while the doors and engine cover open to reveal the internal layout. The weathering is applied by referencing extensive period photography, ensuring every streak and stain reflects the moment the car crossed the line.
The real Ferrari 499P signalled Maranello’s renewed assault on the top tier of endurance racing, combining hybrid power with advanced aerodynamics and a carbon-fibre monocoque. Driven by Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson, the #83 entry secured Ferrari a memorable victory at Le Mans, adding weight to its modern hypercar campaign. This model preserves that moment in miniature form, recording the exact condition of a machine that pushed without pause for a full day and night.
