BMW M 1000 RR Joins MENG’s 1/9 Scale Model Kit Range

The BMW M 1000 RR has been confirmed as MENG’s latest 1/9 scale motorcycle model kit.

Originally unveiled in September 2020, the BMW M 1000 RR marked BMW Motorrad’s first M-branded production motorcycle. Powered by a 999cc inline-four engine developed for racing applications, the machine is characterised by its aerodynamic carbon-fibre winglets, track-focused suspension setup, and chassis engineered for high-performance circuit use.

Since 2021, the M 1000 RR platform has served as the base racing machine for BMW Motorrad’s factory programme. The model has achieved consecutive championship victories in the 2024 and 2025 World Superbike seasons, reinforcing its role as a competition-focused design.

The newly announced MT-009 kit is officially licensed and continues MENG’s established design approach for large-scale motorcycle models. The kit focuses on accurately reproducing the bike’s aerodynamic bodywork, mechanical layout, and overall proportions in a static assembly format. No electronic or motorised features have been indicated at this stage.
