A storm gathers once more over Letchi Island with the reissue of Great Battle in the South Seas: Triumphant Song of the Ocean – Godzilla vs. Ebirah Set. Produced by Plex Co., Ltd. under the Toho 30cm Series FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE, the piece is sculpted by Asai Zokei and recreates the decisive clash from the 1966 film Godzilla vs. Ebirah vs. Mothra: Duel in the South Seas. The composition captures the dramatic moment in which Godzilla drags the sea devil Ebirah from the ocean and hurls the crustacean adversary over his shoulder, translating a dynamic cinematic scene into large-scale soft vinyl form.

The FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE is based on the concept of converting celebrated garage kit works by prominent sculptors into finished soft vinyl figures. This edition presents Ebirah fully above water — an uncommon depiction for the creature — allowing collectors to view the entire body from the tips of its claws to the end of its tail and antennae, all rendered with layered sculptural detailing. Godzilla is posed mid-motion, anchored to a storm-themed base inspired by the rugged shoreline of Letchi Island, complete with crashing waves and rocky terrain that reinforce the atmosphere of the confrontation.

Specifications

This painted finished product stands approximately 48cm in total height, including the base and Ebirah’s antennae. The set includes one Godzilla body, one Godzilla tail, one Ebirah body, one Ebirah right arm, four Ebirah antennae, one pedestal base, one support, one plate, one support part and one instruction manual. Materials consist of PVC for the Godzilla body and tail as well as Ebirah’s body and right arm, ABS for the antennae and plate, PVC for the base, MBS for support components and iron for structural reinforcement. Prototype production was handled by Asai Zokei.

Release Details

This release is a reissue of the Toho 30cm Series FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE Great Duel in the South Seas Triumph of the Ocean Godzilla vs. Ebirah Set originally launched in September 2022. Reservations open at Shounen Ric on 24 February 2026 at 17:00 and close on 16 March 2026 at 17:00, with shipment scheduled for May 2026. The retail price is approximately S$445 (¥49,500, tax included).

The item is exclusive to Shounen Rick and the Godzilla Store and will not be sold through general retail outlets. Orders are limited to two units per person. Overseas sales are expected to commence at a later date.
