Good Smile Company – MODEROID Soushuu Gorou-Nyuudou Masamune
The iron demon of Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa emerges in model form as Good Smile Company unveils the MODEROID Soushuu Gorou-Nyuudou Masamune. This intricate plastic model captures the dark elegance of the samurai-inspired armour, blending traditional Japanese motifs with mechanical precision. Every plate, crest, and curve of the armour has been faithfully reproduced to reflect the imposing presence of Masamune, a machine both regal and menacing in its silhouette.
Part of Good Smile Company’s long-running MODEROID series, the kit is engineered for easy snap-fit assembly without adhesives, allowing builders to focus on the intricate detailing and articulation. The figure stands approximately 15 to 17 centimetres tall upon completion and features full poseability, enabling collectors to recreate its battle stances and signature sword poses straight from the visual novel. Each piece is moulded in colour, designed to retain its vivid look even without additional painting, making it accessible for both experienced modellers and newcomers.
Accessories include Masamune’s characteristic blade and sheath, along with interchangeable hand parts for expressive display options. The internal joint system allows dynamic posing while maintaining stability, a hallmark of the MODEROID line. The careful sculpting and structural design aim to evoke the same commanding aura that defines Masamune’s presence within the Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa universe.
The MODEROID Soushuu Gorou-Nyuudou Masamune is scheduled for release on 8 October 2025 at a retail price of 8,000 yen, roughly equivalent to S$70.
