Heat Ray Ignites in Chibi Form with Godzilla 2023 Model by Fujimi

A new release from Fujimi’s CHIBIMARU Godzilla series introduces the Godzilla (2023) Heat Ray Version as a compact assembly model based on Godzilla -1.0. The kit is scheduled for release on 27 July 2026, with a retail price of approximately S$38.

The design presents Godzilla in a stylised chibi format while retaining key surface textures inspired by the film. Standing at approximately 10 cm in height, the model emphasises contrast across the chest and abdominal areas to reflect variations in skin detail. The structure utilises a front-and-back assembly format, allowing for a simplified build process while maintaining sculpted definition, making it accessible even for those without prior model kit experience.

This Heat Ray Version introduces updated moulded parts in blue tones across the dorsal fins, upper jaw, and tongue, recreating the charged state seen during atomic breath activation. The mouth section includes interchangeable colour options, with blue parts representing the firing state and red parts depicting the pre-charge phase. Adhesive stickers are included, designed for improved conformity to the model’s surface.

Measuring approximately 90 mm in width, 170 mm in depth, and 100 mm in height, the kit is constructed as a non-articulated display model using pre-coloured parts. The simplified assembly approach is paired with stylised proportions, delivering a compact representation of the character while preserving recognisable features from the film.

The CHIBIMARU Godzilla (2023) Heat Ray Version is scheduled for release on 27 July 2026 as part of Fujimi’s chibi-scale Godzilla model kit series.
