Hot Toys Brings Forth the Commander Who Walks Through the Blizzard
In the midst of Hoth’s relentless blizzard, the Snowtrooper Commander steps forward with measured purpose, now realised by Hot Toys in a 1/6th scale exclusive. The figure brings renewed attention to the officer who guided Imperial troops through the frozen trenches of Echo Base during The Empire Strikes Back, recreating his winter-ready armour and equipment with precise detail.
This release captures the commander’s cold-weather field gear, including the distinctive helmet and mask plate, the white chest armour with its red-and-blue rank badge, and the flocked-texture coat that defines the uniform issued to Imperial officers operating in extreme climates. Limited to 3,000 units in selected markets, the figure stands approximately 30 centimetres tall with 30 points of articulation, supported by eight interchangeable gloved hands to shift between command gestures and combat stances.
The equipment loadout follows standard Imperial deployment kits for hostile terrain: an E-11 blaster pistol, a DL-44 blaster rifle and a thermal detonator that attaches to the belt. The presentation is completed by a snow-themed figure stand featuring the Star Wars nameplate, echoing the frozen battlefield where the commander carried out his orders.
