Hot Toys Revisits the Temple of Doom Era

Hot Toys reveals two new 1/6th scale Indiana Jones collectible figures inspired by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Released in both Regular and Deluxe versions, the figures depict Indiana Jones at one of the most physically demanding moments of his cinematic journey, with both editions scheduled to arrive between the first and second quarters of 2027.

The figure is based on Harrison Fordโ€™s portrayal of the iconic archaeologist and reflects his battle-damaged appearance from the latter half of the film. A newly developed head sculpt is paired with a fedora and a separate rolling eyeballs system, allowing for adjustable eye direction. Facial detailing incorporates defined wrinkles, realistic skin texture, and visible wounds and bruises. Standing at approximately 30 centimetres tall, the figure utilises a newly designed specialised body with 30 points of articulation. The upper torso and arms are constructed from silicone over an internal metal skeleton, creating a seamless appearance while maintaining articulation. Battle-damaged effects are applied across the upper body to mirror the on-screen depiction.

Specifications

Both versions are produced by Hot Toys. The Regular Version carries product code MMS860, while the Deluxe Version is identified as MMS861. Each figure stands approximately 30 centimetres tall and features 30 points of articulation. The sculpt and costume are based on Indiana Jones as depicted in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The planned release window for both editions is Q1 to Q2 2027.

Accessories / Features

The costume recreates Indiana Jonesโ€™ on-screen attire, consisting of a beige one-sleeved shirt and brown trousers finished with weathering and distressed effects. The outfit is completed with a fabric belt, a genuine leather belt with holster, brown boots, and a red cord for alternative display configurations. Both versions include multiple interchangeable hands to support a variety of poses and weapon handling. Shared accessories include a genuine leather whip with bendable wire, a spear, a machete, a revolver, a crossbody bag, a Sanskrit manuscript, and two sets of Sankara Stones presented in both dormant and activated states. The Regular Version includes a standard figure stand featuring the movie logo and character name. The Deluxe Version adds an exclusive skull altar-themed diorama base designed to hold the Sankara Stones, with roped planks at the rear to enable more elaborate display arrangements.
