Hot Toys Unveils Concept Art Darth Maul Figure for Star Wars Celebration 2025

Hot Toys Unveils Concept Art Darth Maul Figure for Star Wars Celebration 2025

In celebration of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and ahead of Star Wars Celebration 2025, Hot Toys has revealed a new interpretation of the fearsome Sith apprentice with the launch of the Darth Maul (Concept Art) 1/6th scale collectible figure. This release offers fans a striking reimagining of the character’s early days under the training of Darth Sidious.

Based on early concept designs, the figure trades Maul’s signature black-and-red look for a unique khaki training suit, representing a fresh take on the iconic villain during his apprentice years. The sculpt captures intricate details including finely shaped horns with string elements, separate rolling eyeballs, and a battle-ready expression.

The set includes:

  • A newly developed Darth Maul head sculpt
  • Khaki Sith apprentice costume with detailed armour elements
  • LED-lighted double-bladed lightsaber (USB powered)
  • Interchangeable lightsaber blades (standard and in-motion)
  • Multiple gloved hands for various poses
  • Specially designed figure stand with Star Wars logo and nameplate

Two limited editions are being offered:

  • Japan Exclusive Edition: Limited to 1,000 units, available only in Japan, includes a special commemorative box sleeve
  • Hot Toys Exclusive Version: Limited to 1,500 units, available through selected retail channels

Scheduled for release in Q2–Q3 2025, this concept art Darth Maul figure brings a fresh visual style to a fan-favourite Sith Lord, blending behind-the-scenes history with display-ready quality.
