Ignition Model adds another RWB-inspired vehicle to its resin model range with the release of the IG3879 RWB Backdate Silver and Orange, produced in 1:18 scale.

The model recreates the RWB Backdate styling approach applied to classic Porsche platforms, combining vintage bodywork cues with the recognisable custom elements associated with Rauh Welt Begriff builds. Finished in a contrasting Silver and Orange body scheme, the release reflects the distinctive visual style often seen on RWB backdate conversions while maintaining the compact proportions typical of these custom builds.

Specifications

Produced in 1:18 scale using resin construction, the model focuses on display accuracy and exterior detailing. The car is presented with a lowered stance and fitted with Rotiform FUC-style 18-inch wheels finished in matte silver and black. Although based on a narrow-body layout, the design incorporates front and rear overfenders that extend the vehicle’s visual width.

Exterior features include a ducktail rear spoiler, racing stripes across the body, number decals on both doors, and a dual-exit muffler. These elements contribute to the racing-inspired appearance associated with many RWB backdate builds.

Accessories / Features

Interior details visible through the cabin include a dedicated bucket seat, a custom steering wheel, and a black roll cage. A Vitaloni-style side mirror is installed on the driver’s side only, maintaining the period-inspired aesthetic of the backdate configuration.

The model is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026 and carries a retail price of S$423.
