Jabba’s Infamous Barge Recreated in 1/40 Scale
From the scorched dunes of Tatooine comes a new large scale centrepiece, as The Force Laboratory unveils its 1/40 scale Khetanna collectible statue, recreating Jabba the Hutt’s infamous sail barge in physical form. Known as the mobile palace of the galaxy’s most feared crime lord, the Khetanna is presented here as a detailed static display piece, capturing the layered hull structure and imposing presence of the vessel seen in Return of the Jedi.
Produced at 1/40 scale, the statue measures approximately 45 centimetres in height, 75 centimetres in width, and 31 centimetres in depth, giving it a substantial footprint suitable for large display shelves or cabinets. The piece is constructed using a combination of high grade resin, PU, and alloy components, allowing for both surface detailing and structural rigidity across the elongated barge form.
Two base configurations are offered for this release. The standard version includes a Sarlacc pit integrated into the base, referencing the climactic Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon, while an alternate version omits the Sarlacc entirely for a cleaner desert display. Both versions share the same statue and are produced under a combined global edition size of 100 units.
The preorder price for the Khetanna statue is set at USD 799, which converts to approximately S$1,080 at current exchange rates.
