LEGO Confirms a Wave of Smart Play Expansion Sets for Star Wars
New additions to the LEGO Star Wars lineup have been officially announced, expanding the recently introduced Smart Play System with a wave of compatible expansion sets. While these releases do not include smart bricks or charging bases, they are designed to integrate fully with the system through the inclusion of Smart Tags and interactive minifigures, allowing them to function seamlessly alongside the core Smart Play Sets revealed earlier this January.
The newly announced range covers a mix of character-focused builds and iconic vehicles and locations from across the Star Wars saga. Each set functions as a standalone LEGO build while also supporting Smart Play interactions when paired with compatible components, reinforcing the modular approach behind the system.
