MONDO, the renowned poster and toy company, has announced the release of a new ‘Relic Variant’ of its King Ghidorah soft vinyl figure, designed in collaboration with American artist Jesse Hernandez. This latest edition reimagines the iconic kaiju with ancient civilisation motifs, blending traditional elements with a modern twist.

Jesse Hernandez, a tattoo artist and graphic designer from the San Francisco Bay Area, is known for his unique ‘Urban Aztec’ style, which fuses street graffiti with totemic elements from ancient cultures. His work spans murals, toys, and paintings, often reinterpreting classic pop culture characters through this distinctive lens.

The ‘Relic Variant’ King Ghidorah figure is set to be available for pre-order on MONDO’s official website starting 30 May 2025. Priced at $275 USD, the release is limited to 700 pieces worldwide.

This release follows the 2024 collaboration between MONDO and Hernandez, which introduced a King Ghidorah figure notable for its striking design and colour scheme.
