New-Tool Tu-160 and Y-20 Announced in 1:100 Scale
XUJA, under Huada Toys, has announced two new 1:100 scale static aircraft model kits scheduled for release in 2026, adding the Tu-160 and the Y-20 to its growing jet lineup. Both releases are confirmed as newly tooled projects, signalling a focus on modern and strategic heavy aircraft subjects within the compact 1:100 scale format.
The Tupolev Tu-160, known for its variable-sweep wing design and long-range strike role, is introduced as a static model kit under product numbers 25-28. The kit is intended to capture the distinctive proportions and imposing presence of the aircraft while remaining suitable for display in limited space. As a new-tool release, it is positioned as a fresh representation rather than a rework of earlier moulds.
Alongside it, XUJA is also releasing the Xian Y-20 Kunpeng under product number 25-27. The Y-20 represents China’s modern strategic airlifter and is presented here as a static kit designed to reflect its broad fuselage, high-mounted wings, and multi-engine configuration. Like the Tu-160, this kit is also confirmed as a new-tool project for 2026.
Specifications
Both kits are produced at 1:100 scale and are classified as static model kits. The Tu-160 carries product number 25-28, while the Y-20 is catalogued as 25-27. Each kit is newly tooled for its 2026 release, with no indication of moving parts or alternative configurations at this stage.
Release Details
The XUJA 1:100 Tu-160 and Y-20 static model kits are both scheduled for release in 2026. Pricing and more detailed kit contents are expected to be announced closer to launch.
