Kotobukiya has released updated images of the Zoids HMM Iron Kong Schwarz 1999 Recolour, scheduled for release in June 2026. The kit applies the 1999-era Schwarz colour configuration to the established Highend Master Model Iron Kong tooling, presenting the gorilla-type Zoid in darker military tones with revised surface contrast.

The model retains the large mechanical frame associated with the Iron Kong design, featuring layered external armour over a detailed internal structure. The Schwarz recolour emphasises subdued armour plating with visible mechanical separation between panels and structural components. Joint articulation is integrated across the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, allowing for stable posed display despite the unit’s overall mass and weapon load.

The Zoids HMM Iron Kong Schwarz 1999 Recolour is produced under Kotobukiya’s Highend Master Model series. The kit features multi-part construction, articulated joints and colour-separated moulded components that reflect the Schwarz configuration.
