Magic Craftsman Studio has formally unveiled Sobek, the Desert Colossus Crocodile, as a new 1/12 scale action figure under its Temple of Chaos series. Positioned as a guardian deity within the line’s mythology, Sobek draws inspiration from ancient desert gods and presents a heavily armoured humanoid crocodile form built around ritual symbolism, scale texture, and modular construction.

The figure is developed on a fully articulated humanoid crocodile body, designed to support both dynamic posing and layered equipment display. All armour and gear are fully detachable, allowing Sobek to be configured as a fully equipped guardian or displayed in a stripped-down base form. The sculpt emphasises mass and authority, with ornate armour elements and ceremonial detailing reinforcing its role within the Temple of Chaos narrative.

Specifications

Sobek is produced at 1/12 scale. The base body measures approximately 21 centimetres in height, extending to around 24 centimetres when displayed with the crown attached. The figure is constructed using PVC and POM materials and is designed as a fully movable action figure.

Accessories / Features

The release includes a broad selection of weapons and equipment. Weapon accessories consist of a spear, shield, blade, claw blades, and a coffin accessory that also functions as a storage container. Armour components include chest armour, waist armour, leg armour, a cape, a crown, and wrist guards, with the claw blades designed to attach directly to the wrist guards. All components are removable, supporting multiple display configurations.

Release Details

Pre-orders for Sobek under the Magic Craftsman Studio Temple of Chaos series are scheduled to open on 9 January 2026. Mass production and delivery are currently planned for the middle of 2026, with shipment expected between the second and third quarters.
