The Big 2 Takes Flight in 1/32 Scale
After the announcement of the Snowbirds edition, JoyCraft has revealed the next evolution in its CT-114 Tutor line — the Canadair CT-114 Tutor (2 CFFTS Training Variant), recreated in 1/32 scale and finished in the distinct colours of the 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School, known proudly as “The Big 2.”
This release continues JoyCraft’s commitment to high-fidelity Canadian aviation subjects. The Tutor will be entirely 3D printed, apart from the clear canopy and transparent elements, which will be injected in plastic for enhanced clarity. The production run is strictly limited to 250 units worldwide, making it a collectible piece for enthusiasts of Canadian military aviation.
Pre-orders for the training variant are expected to open in early 2026, following the production cycle of the Snowbirds version. Each model will carry JoyCraft’s precise structural detailing and authentic markings faithful to the real aircraft used at Moose Jaw.
