China’s newest aircraft carrier, the Fujian (Type 003), may have been absent from last month’s national military parade, but it has now appeared in a smaller form. Chinese designer Topgun Chen has produced three Q-scale versions of the Fujian, each presented in a progressively stylised format under the titles “Chibi,” “Chibier,” and “Chibiest.”

The models depict the Type 003’s main structural elements, including its flat flight deck and island tower, in a simplified chibi-style layout. Each version varies slightly in proportion while maintaining identifiable features of the original vessel. The kits are designed as compact interpretations of the Fujian, offering a light adaptation of its modern configuration.
