Wargreymon Enters a Kaiju Altered State
Wargreymon takes on a visibly altered identity with the introduction of Wargreymon “G” Erosion Mode, a release detailed on the official RIC-TOY global site that emerges from the Godzilla vs. Digital Monster COLOR collaboration created to mark Godzilla’s 70th anniversary. This version places the Digimon warrior into the visual language of kaiju fiction, presenting a form shaped by G-cell erosion while remaining anchored to its original character design, and now joins the TOHO Daikaiju Series.
Overview
Wargreymon “G” Erosion Mode represents the character after being overtaken by G-cell influence, resulting in a sculpt that incorporates Godzilla-like surface textures and pronounced dorsal fin elements. Despite these changes, familiar features such as Wargreymon’s rounded eyes and distinctive armour are retained, creating a balanced blend of distortion and recognition. The sculpt is designed to change in impact depending on viewing angle, with its silhouette and expression presenting different impressions when observed from various positions.
