Hasegawa has announced a new 1/48 scale model kit featuring the Kawasaki Ki45 Kai Koh Toryu, accompanied by an Isuzu TX40 fuel truck and Kurogane 4WD vehicle. The kit, listed as HSG07572, is part of Hasegawa’s Limited series and is designed as a three-item set depicting the Ki45 Kai alongside ground support vehicles used during refuelling operations. The injection plastic kit also includes two maintenance crew figures.
The Isuzu TX40 refuelling truck is accompanied by accessories including oil drums, a fire extinguisher and vinyl tubing representing fuel hoses. The Kurogane 4WD includes figures for the driver and passenger-seat machine gunner, as well as a battery commander’s telescope.
Two marking options are provided for the Kawasaki Ki45 Kai. These depict aircraft from the 1st Squadron, 5th Flight Regiment, with one representing an aircraft based at Nasuno on Timor Island in October 1943, while the other depicts an aircraft at Kashiwa Airfield in spring 1943. Decals for the Isuzu TX40 and Kurogane 4WD provide markings for Imperial Japanese Army vehicles.
Hasegawa lists the kit for release on 20 November 2026, with a retail price of SGD 61.73.
