As the multiverse braces for war in Avengers: Doomsday, Hot Toys has unveiled its 1/6th scale Magneto collectible figure, based on Sir Ian McKellen’s return as the Master of Magnetism.
Features
Both figures, numbered MMS912 & MMS912B for the standard release and MMS913 & MMS913B for the Deluxe Version, share a newly developed helmeted head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, highly detailed wrinkles and skin texture, and meticulously implanted light-grey wavy hair extending from beneath the helmet. The costume is likewise shared across both versions, comprising a burgundy long-sleeved tunic and matching trousers, a black belt with an X-logo buckle, tall black boots, and a dark grey cape lined in burgundy. Six interchangeable hands are included with each version, among them a pair designed for using magnetic powers.
Differences between the two versions
- The Deluxe Version includes a battle-damaged Sentinel-themed diorama base with an LED light-up function, in place of the standard figure stand featuring the Avengers: Doomsday movie logo
- The standard version’s product code is MMS912 & MMS912B; the Deluxe Version’s is MMS913 & MMS913B
