Hiya Toys has turned its attention to one of Kiryu’s most heavily armed on-screen configurations, unveiling a new Exquisite Basic figure based on Mechagodzilla’s appearance in Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003).
Features
The figure recreates Mechagodzilla’s mechanical body as seen in the film, including the “MFS-3” marking on its left chest. Layered metallic paintwork and weathering are applied across the armour plating, while the chest-mounted Triple Hyper Maser Cannon, energy cables, armour segments and riveted structural details are reproduced throughout. A large back unit can be attached to recreate Mechagodzilla’s Heavily Armed configuration. Included accessories comprise two railguns, a set of thruster nozzles, a Spiral Claw, and an interchangeable set of hands, allowing the figure to be posed in configurations reflecting Mechagodzilla’s ranged firepower and close-quarters combat capability, including its signature Spiral Claw attack.
