A new 1/4th scale collectible figure of the Joker (2.0) Artisan Edition has been revealed by Hot Toys, marking a return to Heath Ledger’s take on the character in The Dark Knight.
Features
The figure, numbered QS028AE, is centred on a newly crafted head sculpt by artist Heise, who handled the sculpting, painting and hair-rooting. The portrait features separate rolling eyeballs and detailed make-up work, while the character’s green curly hair has been individually implanted using wool material. The body has been specially proportioned and dressed in a newly tailored costume comprising a weathered purple trench coat, grey blazer, green vest, patterned shirt and tie, striped trousers with suspenders and a metal chain, checkered socks and shoes. The trench coat incorporates a magnetic function to hold the lapels in place, with bendable wires embedded through the lapels, collars, hem and back vents of the garments for further adjustment. A magnetically attachable grenade panel fits inside the coat’s lining, referencing one of the film’s key moments.
The figure comes with an extensive selection of weapons and accessories, including a pistol, revolver, submachine gun, shotgun, knife, shoe knives, a detonator, five grenades, a lead pipe and a pencil, alongside a set of Joker cards and stacks of banknotes. Ten interchangeable gloved hands and two interchangeable hands with forearms are included for posing. The figure is presented on a Gotham street-themed diorama base featuring destroyed Batpod pieces.
Specifications
The figure stands approximately 46cm tall and features over 30 points of articulation. It is being produced in a limited quantity of 2,000 units for selected markets.
Availability
The Joker (2.0) Artisan Edition 1/4th scale collectible figure (QS028AE) is expected to be released between the third and fourth quarters of 2027. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
