Hot Toys has announced The Riddler from Batman Forever as a new 1/6th scale collectible figure, based on Jim Carrey’s portrayal of Edward Nygma in the 1995 film.
The figure stands approximately 31.5cm tall and features a body with more than 30 points of articulation. It includes two interchangeable upper head sculpts with domino masks and separate rolling eyeballs. One features The Riddler’s distinctive red hair, while the other comes with a detachable green bowler hat that can also be held as an accessory. Two interchangeable lower faces are provided, featuring a manic smile and an open-mouthed expression.
The costume consists of a green bodysuit and matching jacket covered in the character’s signature question-mark pattern, paired with black-and-green patterned shoes. Eleven interchangeable hands are included, allowing the figure to hold its various accessories and weapons.
The accessories include a set of Bat-Bombs with a question-mark storage pouch, The Riddler’s cane, a NygmaTech mind-control system consisting of the main box and controller, a faceted gem, a magnifying glass and a theatrical mask. The NygmaTech equipment features a green LED light-up function powered by button-cell batteries.
A specially designed figure stand with a character nameplate is also included. The Special Edition, available only in selected markets, adds an openable tennis court riddle box.
