The collaboration between Kojima Productions and horror manga artist Junji Ito produced one of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach‘s more distinctive camo suits, now the basis for a new sixth scale figure. Unlocked through Order No. 034 in the game, the suit carries an anti-BT effect alongside its striking artwork, and Sideshow and Hot Toys have translated the design into the Sam (Junji Ito Suit) Sixth Scale Collectible Figure, presented here in an Artisan Edition limited to 2,000 pieces across selected markets.
Features
The figure captures Norman Reedus’s likeness as Sam Porter Bridges, built on a body with over 30 points of articulation and standing approximately 31cm tall. The head sculpt includes separate rolling eyeballs and a mid-length hairstyle made from wool material. Nine interchangeable gloved hands are included, covering fists, relaxed and opened positions, a cargo-holding hand, a gun-holding hand and a thumbs-up gesture, with all right hands fitted with a Ring Terminal.
Sam is dressed in the white Junji Ito suit, its artwork spread across the body and back armour, with a UV-reactive finish applied to the Drawbridge slogans. The outfit is completed with a black full-body utility harness, a BB Pod rack, cargo racks across the shoulders and thighs, a Silver Battle Skeleton Lv3, and a pair of Transporter Boots.
Equipment includes an articulated Odradek, a Stealth Black BB Pod with charm, and a Dollman finished in Wolf Grey and Bright Yellow that attaches to either the utility pouch or Sam’s fists. Weapons comprise a Machine Pistol, an LW Assault Rifle Lv2, a folded Blood Boomerang and a Strand, alongside a set of tactical attachments — a Chiral Crystal Holder, spare ammo container, grenade pouches, pistol holster, canteen and utility pouch. A figure stand featuring Junji Ito’s artwork, the game’s logo and a character nameplate is included, along with a metal collectible card bearing Junji Ito’s illustration and a display case, both exclusive to the Artisan Edition.
