When the Alien Queen comes knocking, a forklift just isn’t going to cut it. Hot Toys recreates one of Aliens’ most unforgettable showdowns with a new 1/6th scale set pairing Ellen Ripley with the towering Power Loader that became her last line of defence.
Created as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of the sci-fi classic, the set pairs a newly detailed Ellen Ripley figure with a fully articulated Power Loader. Ripley’s appearance reflects the battle-damaged state seen during the climactic showdown aboard the USS Sulaco, including heavier blood effects and weathering across her clothing and footwear.
The 1/6th scale Ellen Ripley figure stands approximately 30cm tall and features a newly crafted head sculpt depicting Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, complete with separate rolling eyeballs, blood paint applications and a meticulously sculpted black curly hairstyle. The figure uses a silicone upper body with 18 points of articulation, allowing the exposed shoulders and arms to maintain a seamless appearance.
Ripley comes dressed in a weathered white T-shirt over a grey tank top, along with light blue-grey trousers, weathered Reebok Alien Stompers and a grenade harness. A silver wristwatch completes the outfit. The set also includes a dark grey sock that can replace the right shoe, recreating the moment when Ripley’s Alien Stomper is torn away during the airlock sequence.
Eight interchangeable hands are included, covering relaxed poses, joystick operation, weapon handling and accessory interaction. A metal grating floor-themed display stand featuring the Aliens logo and character nameplate completes the Ripley figure.
Standing approximately 51.5cm tall, the Power Loader is a substantial centrepiece with a highly detailed mechanical structure finished in yellow and black with weathering effects. It features more than 18 points of articulation, including articulated mechanical arms, legs and grabbing claws.
The Power Loader also features an openable protective roll cage, slidable operator joysticks, realistic wiring and a functional operator seat with backrest and webbing harness system. USB-powered LED lighting illuminates the orange warning beacon and the interior of the roll cage with white light.
The Power Loader is specifically engineered to accommodate the Ellen Ripley figure inside its cockpit, allowing collectors to recreate the iconic final battle between Ripley and the Alien Queen. The set can also be displayed alongside Hot Toys’ 1/6th scale Alien Queen figure.
