Hot Toys has announced two new 1/6 scale Thor collectible figures based on Chris Hemsworth’s appearance in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. The new releases comprise the standard Thor (MMS918) and Thor (Deluxe Version) (MMS919), both featuring a newly developed head sculpt, seamless silicone arms, LED-equipped weapons and an assortment of translucent blue lightning effects.
Both figures stand approximately 32 cm tall and feature 30 points of articulation. Thor is recreated with a muscular body and seamless silicone arms, allowing for a range of dynamic poses while maintaining the appearance of a natural physique.
The newly crafted head sculpt depicts Hemsworth as Thor with a detailed beard, skin textures and a sculpted brown textured crop hairstyle. The head also features separate rolling eyeballs with a UV luminous reflective effect, designed to enhance Thor’s intense, god-like gaze.
Thor wears a tailored Asgardian armour set comprising black torso armour with bronze-coloured discs, black bracers, patterned black trousers, long black boots and a red cape with an embedded bendable wire. The bronze-coloured discs on the torso can be replaced with translucent blue lightning effect discs. The torso armour also features a USB-powered white LED light-up function.
Both versions include Thor’s two signature weapons, a reconstructed cracked Mjølnir and Stormbreaker. Both weapons feature blue LED light-up functions and are accompanied by translucent blue lightning effects. Additional lightning effects can be attached to the weapons, armour and forearms.
The standard Thor figure, identified by product code MMS918, comes with a specially designed figure stand featuring the Avengers: Doomsday logo and a character nameplate.
The Deluxe Version, identified as MMS919, expands the display with several exclusive accessories. These include additional translucent blue lightning effects, three lightning effects that attach to the figure base and a specially designed battle-damaged Sentinel’s head-themed diorama base. The base incorporates a large translucent blue lightning effect and a USB-powered LED light-up function.
The Deluxe Version is also designed to recreate the electrified battlefield sequence featuring Thor and Doctor Doom seen in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, with the additional lightning effects providing greater flexibility for display configurations.
Both Thor figures are scheduled for release approximately between Q3 and Q4 of 2027.
