Boris Knokhov has introduced a new 1/16 scale figure of a World War II German Panzer lieutenant, giving figure modellers another detailed subject for their wartime collections.
Designed as a parts set for a Leutnant der Panzertruppe, the figure offers two head options, allowing builders to choose between a field visor cap in the distinctive “crusher” style and an officer’s overseas cap. The uniform and awards are intended to reflect a German tank crewman from around 1941 to 1943, although comparable combinations could be seen among Panzer crews later in the war.
The figure has been created entirely through digital sculpting. Knokhov states that the work was produced without AI, 3D scanning, photogrammetry, body or pose generators, clothing design or wrinkle-generation software, or pre-made third-party details.
The result is supplied as a 3D printed-to-order miniature, with the figure requiring assembly by the modeller. A PDF manual is also available, providing assembly instructions, additional descriptions and a painting guide.
For modellers who prefer to handle the printing themselves, the figure is also offered as STL files. This allows the design to be printed at 1/16 scale or adapted to another scale according to the modeller’s requirements.
The German Panzer lieutenant is priced at SGD 80.99, excluding shipping, and is available to order directly from Knokhov via PayPal.
The new figure joins Knokhov’s earlier 1/16 scale World War II US tank crewman, with the two figures shown together to provide a direct comparison between the opposing sides of the conflict.
