BANDAI SPIRITS has announced the MGEX 1/100 Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, the third release in its MGEX Gunpla line. Based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom, the plastic model kit is scheduled for release in March 2027.
The Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is the ZGMF/A-262PD-P, formed by combining the ZGMF/A-262B Strike Freedom Gundam Type II with the Proud Defender support unit.
The MGEX Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam features Mechanical Core Plating technology with three colours of secondary processing. The kit also features a golden internal frame and pink colouring in the wings.
The back-mounted Proud Defender can be separated and incorporates the Super DRAGOON mobile weapon wings. The wings can be divided into multiple sections to reveal the golden internal frame.
An in-development prototype of the MGEX Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam was also previewed.
