The dramatic “Wings of Light” sequence from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny is set to get an illuminated makeover, with GL announcing an MGSD-format Destiny Gundam model kit that pairs effect parts with built-in lighting.
Features
The kit reproduces the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam in the MGSD format, built around the Voiture Lumiere-inspired Wing of Light effect that the mobile suit deploys during high-speed manoeuvres in the anime. Clear effect parts are included to recreate the wing formation, now paired with a lighting feature to enhance the glow associated with the sequence. A dedicated display stand is included to support the kit in the expanded wing pose, along with a water slide decal sheet for additional surface detailing.
