The X-Men’s tactical leader gets the double treatment, as Hot Toys unveils both a standard and Deluxe Version of its 1/6th scale Cyclops collectible figure, based on James Marsden’s return in Avengers: Doomsday.
Features
Both figures, numbered MMS908 & MMS908B for the standard release and MMS909 & MMS909B for the Deluxe Version, share the same newly developed head sculpt, fitted with an LED light-up function on the eyes and a screen-accurate visor, alongside detailed wrinkles, skin texture and a sculpted light brown short hairstyle. The costume is likewise shared across both versions, comprising a navy tactical top, matching cargo trousers, a weathered yellow asymmetrical chest harness with a circular X-logo emblem, a utility belt, weathered thigh straps and combat boots. Both include the same set of eight interchangeable hands and five interchangeable visor pieces, featuring translucent red optic blast effects in laser beam, wide-angle, swoosh-shaped and linear beam forms, along with an attachable splash effect piece.
Differences between the two versions
- The Deluxe Version adds a brown leather-like microfibre jacket, not included with the standard release
- The Deluxe Version includes a battle-damaged Sentinel-themed diorama base with an LED light-up function, in place of the standard figure stand featuring the movie logo
- Release timing differs: the standard version is expected between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027, while the Deluxe Version follows between Q2 and Q3 2027
