The Batman Who Laughs first appeared in the 2017 series Dark Nights: Metal. Hailing from Earth-22 of the Dark Multiverse, this version of Batman crossed the line by killing the Joker, and in the moment of the Joker’s death, inhaled a modified Joker toxin released from his heart, fusing Batman’s intellect with the Joker’s madness to create a formidable villain.
The Art Mask, including its base, features detailed and realistic sculpting capturing his sinister, chilling smile. The paint application highlights yellowed teeth, glistening gums, and the cracked texture of his face paint, alongside leather and metallic textures and heavy battle-damage detailing. The base draws on the Batcave, with a swarm of bats encircling their master. This limited edition also includes an interchangeable battle-axe weapon that can be attached to the base for dynamic display.
