Grief has rarely looked this armoured — Hot Toys’ new RoboRider Collectible Figure turns Kotaro Minami’s lowest moment into one of Kamen Rider Black RX’s most defensive forms. Where Black RX relies on speed and agility, RoboRider trades that mobility for heavy armour and precision marksmanship, born out of a moment of overwhelming despair that resonates with the King Stone and reshapes him into what’s known as the Prince of Sadness.

The newly developed helmeted head carries the character’s signature antennae alongside LED light-up eyes, finished in red and battery powered. The body underneath is built for high poseability, supported by eight interchangeable hands covering fists, relaxed poses, claw-like gestures, and a grip suited to holding the Vortech Shooter. An undersuit made from multi-layered screen-printed elastic fabric gives the costume a dense, durable base, layered beneath a set of black, silver, and yellow armour marked with circuit-pattern detailing and the R2 emblem across the chest.
The Sunriser Henshin belt sits at the centre of the design, shaped like a gearbox and fitted with its own LED light-up function, powered by USB. For combat, the figure comes armed with the Vortech Shooter, RoboRider’s signature high-powered laser firearm, and includes a translucent red Robo Punch effect piece that recreates the moment his fist absorbs flame energy on screen. A dedicated figure stand with the Kamen Rider Black RX logo and character nameplate rounds out the display.
