X-Plus turns to the earliest chapter of Ultraman’s television run for its next plastic model kit, capturing the hero as he appeared through the character’s opening thirteen episodes in his original A-Type suit.

The kit renders the A-Type Ultraman with attention paid to the mask’s distinctive creasing and overall proportions, elements that distinguish this early suit variant from the character’s later, more familiar look. Rather than a static display pose, the figure is arranged in a stance suggesting a standoff with an unseen opponent, capturing the tension of measuring distance before a clash.
The set is completed by a diorama base styled after a Showa-era building, staged in vignette form with forced perspective to lend the scene a sense of depth. Together, the figure and setting are intended to recall a scene from the series’ early broadcast run.
