Monster Hunter subspecies return in GASHAPON 捕獲隊 wave two

Monster Hunter subspecies return in GASHAPON 捕獲隊 wave two

A second wave of captured monsters expands the subspecies line-up as Bandai’s GASHAPON line continues its Monster Hunter 捕獲隊 series with a focus on alternate and rare variants.

The 『魔物獵人 捕獲隊 亞種・稀少種2』 capsule series continues the established concept of presenting monsters in a defeated, grounded pose, scaled down into compact display pieces. Each figure captures the moment after capture, with creatures laid flat against a terrain-style base, maintaining the series’ consistent visual identity. This second wave shifts focus towards subspecies and rare species, introducing colour variations and distinct traits that differ from their standard counterparts.

Specifications
Each figure stands at approximately 6 cm in height and is designed as part of a capsule toy format. The series consists of four variants, all sculpted with attention to texture across scales, claws, and body structure. The included base features a sand and rocky terrain design, reflecting the in-game environment.

Accessories / Features
The line-up includes four monsters: Azure Rathalos (蒼火龍), Pink Rathian (櫻火龍), Molten Tigrex (大轟龍), and a red subspecies of Khezu. Each variant features a distinct colour scheme representing its subspecies or rare classification. The figures are sculpted in a prone, subdued pose, consistent with the 捕獲隊 theme, with detailing applied to emphasise surface textures and anatomical features.
