Vader’s signature weapon refined in Hasbro’s Force FX Elite edition
Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series Force FX Elite Lightsaber line continues with a version of Darth Vader’s hilt as seen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This release focuses on screen-inspired detailing and enhanced electronic features, combining a metal construction with updated lighting and sound elements designed to replicate the on-screen experience. The hilt reflects the distinctive design language associated with Vader, while offering flexibility for both display and active use.
Specifications
The lightsaber features a real metal hilt constructed with design and deco based on Darth Vader’s weapon from Obi-Wan Kenobi. It incorporates advanced LED technology paired with series-inspired sound effects to simulate ignition, idle, and clash interactions. Activation is controlled via buttons integrated into the hilt, enabling users to trigger sound effects and lighting sequences. The unit requires three AA/LR6 alkaline batteries, which are not included.
Accessories / Features
The set includes the Darth Vader lightsaber hilt, a detachable blade, a kyber crystal element, a display stand, and instructions. The display stand supports presentation either with the blade attached or with the hilt on its own, allowing for multiple display configurations. The combination of lighting and sound design aims to deliver one of the more realistic Force FX Elite experiences to date.
